Q&A:Benefits

How many days of leave are staff entitled to a year?
121 days a year (in principle, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and the period around New Year are all holidays, but there is some variation according to department). In addition, staff are entitled to annual leave (13 days in the first year, up to 24 days a year, according to the number of years cumulatively worked).
We encourage staff to make use of their annual leave entitlement, and in summer run campaigns in association with social and workers unions to take consecutive days off.
What is the standard of company housing and accommodation for unmarried staff?
Suntory owns property, or rents properties, all over the country. There are some differences in the type of housing available to staff, based on age and family circumstances.
Please tell me about facilities and leisure schemes available for use at corporate member rates.
Suntory is a corporate member of accommodation facilities and sports clubs all over the country. Staff can use such facilities and clubs at a discounted rate or with a special offer. Staff can also make use of various lifestyle support schemes at a corporate member rate, such as member clubs and financial support for baby sitters.
Are there any other benefits I should know about?
We have a Rest & Recuperation Leave system in place, which provides staff with up to 15 days of extra holiday, after a specific number of cumulative years in service, and a financial incentive of up to 300,000 JPY.
