Suntory Beverage & Food Limited (SBF) announces the launch of a newly revamped version of GREEN DAKARA on May 10, 2016 (Tuesday) in Japan.
Also revamped is GREEN DAKARA Yasashii Mugicha, which will be released on the same day.

●New GREEN DAKARA
GREEN DAKARA has been widely popular among customers ranging from children to adults as a daily hydration drink made from familiar ingredients.
SBF has now revamped the flavor and package to further promote GREEN DAKARA as a delicious beverage for consumption not only during daily lifestyle occasions but also in times when customers sweat and need to rehydrate. The result is new GREEN DAKARA, a hydration drink with a flavor more delicious than ever.

<Characteristics of the product’s flavor>
We focused on ease of consumption and revamped the flavor to make GREEN DAKARA pleasant for consuming in a variety of daily lifestyle occasions.
Using “fruit micronization” based on technology that micronizes fruit aroma particles, fruit aromas are more micronized and more greatly dispersed than the previous product to achieve a refreshing and pleasing sensation during consumption. The new GREEN DAKARA is a transparent beverage that is more appealing and that delivers the fresh, delicious flavor of fruit.
We also retained the sodium permeation rate of 40mg/100ml, one of the characteristics of GREEN DAKARA and the perfect level for effective rehydration.

<Package characteristics>
While retaining the well-known product features of GREEN DAKARA, the green cap and the heart logo, we created a new bottle to convey the new delicious flavor of the revamped GREEN DAKARA.

Concurrent with product release, we will launch aggressive communication activities including television commercials and sampling to generate buzz around the release of the new GREEN DAKARA.
