From Kyoto Station

At JR Kyoto station transfer to the Kintetsu Line and take a local train bound for Nara. Get off at Kintetsu Shinhosono Station. Exit the station and take either Bus #56, 58, or 59 bound for Gakken Nara-Tomigaoka. Take the bus to "National Diet Library" bus stop. The bus fare is 240yen. Pay as you exit. It is approximately a 10 minute bus ride to the "National Diet Library" bus stop. It is 2 minutes walk to the SWR from the bus stop.

From Osaka /
Kansai International Airport

Take the airport shuttle bus from the airport to Keihanna Plaza. There is one bus per hour. The bus ride takes 1 hour 40 minutes depending on traffic.

Transfer and take bus #56 or #59 bound for Hosono Station from Keihanna Plaza*. Take the bus to "National Diet Library" bus stop. It is approximately a 5 minute ride to the bus stop. From here it is a 2 minute walk on foot to SWR.
* If you’re feeling energetic and confident it is an easy 15 minute walk on foot from Keihanna Plazza to SWR.

The SWR is located in Kansai Science City.
