Suntory Flowers implements the Big Flower Project with the goal of facilitating flower education for children and revitalizing cities and regions by planting flower seedlings, growing them, and having them bloom in elementary schools and cities throughout the country. This year, in addition to this Center, the Suntory Group has provided assistance in the total costs of construction for after school day care facilities at five locations in Fukushima Prefecture, which a great many children enjoy.

On the day, Suntory employee volunteers joined in, and with the hope of helping Ishinomaki become filled with smiles, they planted Surfinia Max along with the children and the local people.

The children who participated said that "It was fun cooperating with the local people to plant flowers," "It's fun when the flowers bloom!" and the like.
In order for the Suntory Group to facilitate the "recovery of the spirit," the entire Group will continue with reconstruction assistance activities.
