Suntory Group Supports Water and the Environment through Global Employee Health and Wellness Program

The company’s 40,000 employees invited to participate in support of environmental charities

Suntory Group is inviting its 40,000 employees around the world to participate in “One Suntory Walk,” the company’s annual health & wellness program, throughout the month of October.
“One Suntory Walk” promotes health and wellness, and supports charities dedicated to protecting water and the environment. For every employee who participates, Suntory will donate $20 to charities that support water and the environment for a maximum contribution of $200,000. Employees will choose one of three charities to support: charity: water, The Nature Conservancy, or organizations involved in preserving natural environment in Japan’s national parks.
In 2018, participants walked a total of 1.1 billion steps, resulting in a donation of $200,000 (approximately ¥22 million*1) across the three charities.
One Suntory Walk will raise health awareness and help employees cultivate fitness habits while competing for the charities of their choice.
