BEAM SUNTORY ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT TO SELL SPANISH BRANDY & SHERRY BUSINESS TO EMPERADOR INC.

Deerfield, Illinois and Manila, Philippines, November 30, 2015 – Beam Suntory Inc. today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Jerez-based brandy and sherry business to Emperador Inc. The agreement includes the Fundador, Harveys, Terry and Tres Cepas brands, as well as production operations in Jerez and Tomelloso, Spain.
The all-cash transaction was valued at 275 million euros.
