Management of Vending Machine Operators
to Be Integrated and Start Anew as Suntory Beverage Service

Suntory Beverage and Food Limited (president: Nobuhiro Torii) and Suntory Foods Limited (president: Masato Tsuchida) will integrate the management of their six subsidiaries in the vending machine business: Japan Pepsi-Cola Sales Co., Ltd., Hokkaido Pepsi-Cola Sales Co., Ltd., Tohoku Pepsi-Cola Sales Co., Ltd., Chubu Pepsi-Cola Sales Co., Ltd., Kinkichushikoku Pepsi-Cola Sales Co., Ltd., and Minami Kyushu Pepsi-Cola Ltd. Japan Pepsi-Cola Sales Co., Ltd. will be the surviving company. As of 1 April 2013, it will change its name to Suntory Beverage Service Limited and start a new management.

Suntory Beverage Service Limited is expected to be one of the leading vending machine operators*¹ in Japan, with sales reaching the 120 billion yen range. It will seek to provide customers with an even more reliable service while continuing to strengthen ties with the vending machine operators active in the various areas.

Based on this business integration, Suntory Beverage Service Limited will be able, through prompt decision-making, to deal expeditiously with changes in the environment surrounding the business, and will endeavor to improve business operations and increase cost efficiency.
