On December 14, 2022, in Jakarta, Suntory Garuda Beverage (SGB) in charge of the management of Mizuiku program in Indonesia, announced the launch of the Mizuiku Teachers Guide, a teaching guide module for clean water and environmental education for school teachers.
SGB's Mizuiku is collaborating with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology in developing the Teachers' Guide. It is a guidebook for teachers that provides practical guidance on the concept, planning and assessment of water resource conservation. There are two sets to accommodate students' learning phase, one for 5 to 8 years old and another set for children 9 to 12 years old. Each set contains four books, that represent key learning areas of Mizuiku. Those four areas are Protect Water Cycle; Prevent Water Pollution; Conserve Water by Plant the Tree; and, Keep the Water Clean by Sort and Manage the Waste.
Simultaneously at the launch ceremony of Mizuiku Teachers Guide, Mizuiku also holds a graduation ceremony for more than 18,000 Mizuiku children, 2,500 teachers across the archipelago.
