SUNTORY MUSEUM
The Suntory Museum in Tempozan closed its doors on December 26, 2010.
Designed as a cultural complex featuring a gallery exhibiting modern and contemporary art and design and a movie theater with a giant, 3D screen utilizing IMAX 3D technology, the Museum opened in November 1994. Over the course of sixteen years, the Museum served 11 million visitors, holding 83 exhibitions, presenting 57 movies, and actively working to inspire and educate new generations of young people.The museum would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to all of the individuals and organizations who have provided their kind support and cooperation.
